The Friday Funnies!
Meanwhile, in other news, there’s this: In the early 1960s, the United States Air Force, the first service to adopt the M-16 rifle, enlisted young recruits to demonstrate the weapon’s low recoil. The judicious juxtaposition of the M-16 was only partially successful. However, the low recoil test was a boon for local choirs, who were pleased that the Air Force recruits could easily sing Third Tenor and Third Soprano. Big hug, y’all!
