This and That – Blanche DuBose and Godzilla!

Good afternoon! In “A Streetcar Named Desire,” Blanche states: “I don’t want realism…I want magic.” I have found that when life’s sky is grey and cloudy, it’s best to take dear Blanche’s words to heart–escape the realism and look for the magic. With that in mind, I accepted an invitation from David Delk to see “Godzilla King of the Monsters.” All I can say is this…I’m still looking for the magic. At least the dubbing was better than in the old days. However, a fun afternoon with an old friend is magical whatever the movie. Later Godzilla-Loving Gaters! (Orginally published June 6, 2019)
