This and That – My Old Shirt.
Greetings! Is there anything more comfortable, more snuggly, more relaxing than a dear, ol’ shirt? I loved this old shirt. Grew attached to it over the past 15 years. I thought we would go through life together, alone, but knowing nothing could separate us. Alas! Life always has a way of rearing its ugly head.
I was told my a local shopkeeper that me and my favorite shirt were an embarrassment to her and her fellow customers. She informed my that if I could not dress more professionally, my decorating services would no longer be needed. So, with deep regret, I’m throwing my dear, old friend away because I like to eat and need the job.
Don’t ask who it was. Time on the rack, the death of a thousand cuts, or threats of the French National Razor could not make divulge her name. So don’t ask. (Pam Berry Meinzinger you’ll be receiving this same message via messenger. )
