The Sunday Sermonette – Jesus Is Coming Again!

Good morning Family and Friends!

I’ve seen this post shared on many Facebook pages. And now, after a few embellishments of my own, I’m sharing it with you. I haven’t studied the Bible nearly as much as I should have in my life, and there are many things in it that I don’t understand, yet I continue to believe and have faith in God and His son Jesus! I also believe one other thing beyond a shadow of a doubt: Jesus is coming again to take His children Home!

The events unfolding in our country today – talk of microchips, which alludes to the Mark of the Beast spoken of in Revelation, talk of a cashless society, anarchy in the streets, Marshall Law, increased Government dependency and control – are just a few of the things that will happen before He returns and the Anti-Christ rules the land. Because our lives are so filled with the “stuff” of life, many things go unnoticed or just get ignored. However, His return should not be one of them. We’ve seen many “firsts” since January 2020. Can our minds & bodies handle what’s coming? Not without God.

When God tells Jesus to “go and get your children” and the Rapture happens, I wonder what medical professional the non-believers will have on the evening news explaining the sudden disappearance of so many people at once? I don’t intend to be here, but it is food for thought.
The Bible is also very clear on another point: the Devil is alive and well on Mother Earth, walking around “like a roaring lion.” The Devil is most dangerous when he’s beguiling, and with his alluring ways, he is preparing people for the Anti-Christ. But God, in His love and mercy, is preparing people for the Rapture! I don’t know when that will take place, but I do believe it could be soon. And because I believe in God’s Holy Word from Genesis to Revelation, I don’t intend to be left behind when the trumpet sounds and the roll is called up yonder!

I also believe that God gives everyone a chance to call on Him and His Son Jesus for salvation and the joy and peace it brings. We need to tell the world this joyous news! Until the Good Lord calls me Home, I want to state that I believe in Jesus Christ as the one and only true Savior of the world.
Even though I am human and fail Him miserably in so many ways, I believe with all my heart that Jesus is the Son of God. I believe He was born a baby to the Virgin Mary. I believe He died on a cross as a sacrifice for our sins. I believe He rose from the dead on the third day! I believe He is in Heaven preparing a place for all those who believe and trust Him as their Savior. He loves us dearly (far more than we deserve), and He forgives our sins when we repent.

His Word says in John 3:16, “Whosoever believeth in Me, shall not perish but have everlasting life.”
The Bible also says in Matthew 10:33, “But whosoever shall deny me before men, he will I also deny before my Father which art in Heaven.”
This is the best challenge I have seen on Facebook of late. So, if the Holy Spirit moves you and you’re not ashamed to do so, copy this post and make it your status update.

Can I get an Amen for being a believer in God the Father, Jesus the Son, and God the Holy Spirit? Amen!

Big hug, y’all!
