Dispatches from Home – The Creature From the Black Lagoon!

FUN TIME! Name the first horror picture you saw that scared you to death…and why. Me? “The Creature From The Black Lagoon!” It was the first time a body suit was worn to create a monster. When that long, bony, claw-like hand came out of the water, and I first saw the creature’s eyes, I tried to crawl under my theater seat. Or was it a car seat at the drive-in? I was so scared after that that I tried to sleep with Mom and Dad for a week. As you might imagine, that didn’t work out too well.
