This and That – Terror on the Coast!
Oh! By gosh! By golly! It’s not yet time for mistletoe and holly, but it is time for things that go bump in the night! What a fun time I had last night at Terror on the Coast.
The cast and crew were out in force doing what they do best…scarring you to death! The immense, raucous crowd waited patiently for their turn to enter the Haunt. And when small groups of them did, the screaming began. I could hear their screams, shouts, and laughter echoing throughout the building.
What fun I had walking through it all by myself! This is the Haunt’s sixth year. Having watched it from its conception, I continue to be amazed at its progress. Walking through the Haunt’s labyrinth of creepy rooms, down its dark, dank stone hallways and steamy Cajun swamps, is scary enough. But it’s what’s in the nooks and crannies that make you jump and shiver: witches, ghosts, creatures, and things that growl and screech…and go bump in the night!
What I liked most of all was that the Haunt is kid-friendly. Sorta like the Haunted Houses of my youth, no possessed demons or satanism, no gushing blood or guts splattered on you. Just good, old-fashioned, scary fun! Here’s the Haunt’s official sight. Check it out…if you dare! http://terroronthecoast.com/
