The Friday Funnies – Renfield’s Halloween Poem.
It’s ooky spooky in the asylum at night.
Crazy ol’ Renfield might give you a fright.
He’ll jump on your back, you’ll be in a bind.
If you’re not careful, who knows what you’ll find.
You might see things like hairy black bats,
You might see things like silky black cats.
At every quick turn, there’s an attendant or two.
One like Mr. Butterworth, staring at you.
But if you are good and your nice, and do as you’re told,
Life at the asylum will be priceless like gold.
You’ll call it your home and stay there for life.
No problems, no fears, no worries, no strife.
Living happily ever after, like Renfield in spats.
You, Butterworth, some bats and some cats.
