This and That – Happy Halloween from An Old Stiff.

Happy Halloween! For your perusal, I post a snap of moi in all my deathly splendor. The year was 1974. The place – the cobweb-infested attic of Ross Hall on the campus of William Carey University, back in the day before Baptists lost their sense of humor. (LOL!)

My co-heart in horror was Mary Jane Britton Avery, a fellow Seramporeian.

The Haunted House was created by the Serampore Players, Carey’s theatrical organization. Seeing this snap confirmed my desire to donate my lackluster body to medical science. Some bleary-eyed, Monday-morning pre-med students might need a good laugh to start the week. (LOL!)

I wanted to glue a sign to my naked self that said, “Go ahead and laugh…I did.” But the Ole Miss functionary, twirling her pearls, told me in a cold monotone that was impossible.Oy Vey!

However, there is a positive side to all this: I must keep going to the gym! I want that pre-med student to say, “Whowee! Age didn’t help this old coot’s big schnozzola or his balding pate, but he sure did have some sexy legs.” (LOL!)

Later Halloween Gaters!
