This and That – Elizabeth Taylor and Maureen Stapleton.

Greetings! I had the privilege of seeing these two amazing ladies at the New Orleans Saenger Theater back in 1981.

The set, the costumes, and the entire cast were impeccable. But Taylor and Stapleton were the jewels in the play’s crown.

What a night it was for this ol’ country boy from Mississippi.

Interesting factoid: At the London Opening, Miss Taylor’s most famous admirer was Princess Diana, who came to see the show while pregnant with Prince William.
