This and That – Christmas Day 2012.

Christmas Day was bleak, rainy, and raw. Despite this, my mother and I still took our traditional ride west to see the sights, a family tradition that goes back as far as I can remember.

I’m looking out the window at another cloudy day, but inside is warm and cozy – so is life. I’m thankful for the pleasure of simple things, loving friends and family, and a God who loves me, even though, at times, I’m not so lovable.
