The Friday Funnies! Margie, the Snake, and Me.

On this foggy day in old Gulfport town, please take time to peruse the accompanying snap. You know it’s going to be one of those days at work–in this case, ye ole DHS office circa 2014–when someone screams, “There’s a big snake in the hallway!!!” Snakes on a plane are one thing; outside your supervisor’s office is a snake of a different color, so to speak.

Being the gentleman I think I am, in times of danger, I wholeheartedly adhere to the principle of women and children first. However, I felt it my gentlemanly duty to jump first onto the desk to ascertain its ability to support two people’s weight. I knew my supervisor, Margie Reid, being a county girl from out the Saucier-Lizana Road, could fend for herself.

Laugh. Giggle. And chuckle. Those are your marching orders for the day.
