“Many live their lives in order to gain riches, which will not last. Some seek beauty, fame, and popularity, which will soon fade away. The world will tell us that we need many things in order to make our lives complete. But a person who receives wisdom gains the insight to prioritize his life according to the truth found only in God’s Word.

God Himself is the source of wisdom and understanding. Seek therefore to put away vain pursuits, which one day will disappear as quickly as they came. Apply your heart instead to understanding and gaining that which is more precious than silver or gold. Nothing our hearts desire can compare with this – wisdom. Wisdom will give us understanding far above the most educated person in the world who does not know God.”
