This and That – Francis the Talking Mule and the Old Testament.

Greetings! In my quiet time, I’ve been reading the Old Testament, a strange and thought-provoking set of inspired writings with a timely message, even if one is delivered by a talking mule. (LOL.) Over and over in the Books of the Old Testament, we are warned about what happens when we reject God.

Please take time to read Nehemiah 9 sometime soon. I especially like verses 5 through 6. As you read, when it talks about Israel, change that to America. When it says us or we, change that to I or me. How ancient words, thousands of years old, can be so relevant in today’s equally strange and thought-provoking times amazes me.
