Gentlemen today are as scarce as true ladies in this crass, unmannered society in which we find ourselves. Over 30 years ago, I read an article on good manners in GQ magazine. A quote from it went something like this: “In today’s society, the person who possesses good manners possesses a dazzling social asset.” Hummmm. And to think, that was 30 years ago! I may not be much, but I can be a gentleman.
