The Sunday Sermonette – Honesty and Dishonesty.

Have you ever looked back on your life and seen where dishonesty worked against you, causing you great mental anguish and others to distrust you?

The Good Book reminds us that honesty is wiser because “the wicked are trapped by their own words, but the godly escape such trouble.” Honesty is so important in life. It’s a good roadmap for living, too. God is pleased when we are honest.

Doing so brings peace with Him, peace with our friends and family, and, most importantly, peace with ourselves.

Ponder this and go forth.
