For your perusal today, I present Young Scrooge and Old Scrooge. Forty-five years apart. Mercy me, how the mighty have fallen. (LOL!)

Please remember to laugh today. As you age, try to keep your sense of humor.

If you ain’t got one, better jenny off to the local Woolworths store and buy one. (LOL!)

Learn to laugh with others, not at them. Try to fill each day with something fun to do that makes you laugh.

If you can’t think of anything else, strip down to your birthday suit and take a gander at yourself in a full-length mirror. If you’re around 70, like me, I guarantee you’ll get a laugh. I do!!! (LOL!)

Two snaps—two Scrooges. The first was around 1973 at William Carey College in Hattiesburg, where we did a Country Christmas show for a church group. The second is 2018 for “Scrooge the Musical” at the Mary C Cultural Center in Ocean Springs, Mississippi.
