The Sunday Sermonette – Revenge.

When it comes to revenge, a good rule of life is this: don’t rejoice when those who hurt you suffer.

Don’t take revenge on those who do.

Seeking revenge only ruins your peace of mind and may increase the chances of future retaliation.

The Book of Proverbs states:
If your enemy is hungry, give him food to eat;
And if he is thirsty, give him water to drink;
For you will heap burning coals on his head,
And the Lord will reward you.

Ponder this and go forth.
