This and That – Bucket Friends.

My former Pastor at the First Baptist Church of Gulfport posted this on Facebook on June 5, 2016. This is an uplifting book, and I highly recommend it. “In their best-selling book “How Full Is Your Bucket?” Rath and Clifton point out that people in your life are either bucket fillers or bucket drainers.

Fillers add joy and encouragement to your life. Drainers pull the plug on your faith, hope, and love.

Soloman wisely said, “The righteous should choose friends carefully or risk being led into emptiness by deceitful ones” (Prov.12:26). Or, as my dad used to say, “You can never be in the right place at the right time doing the right thing if you are surrounded by the wrong people.”

That’s the bucket filling truth too!!
