Dispatches from Home – Mom’s Update #2.

Here’s your daily update: Mom passed a good night last night, as the old-timers say, although she was still a bit groggy from all the meds they’ve given her.

Today, she’s more herself, ate a good breakfast, a tad of lunch, and a great supper. I think she’ll be discharged tomorrow!

I just dashed home to check on things, so let me dash back to the hospital. It will be another night on a hard-as-nails sofa, while listening to the hospital’s cacophony of sounds: wheezes, sneezes, toots and whoops, buzzes, honks and bonks, accompanied by the constant flatulence of the patient next door.

Ah! Yes! Another peaceful night on the fifth floor of the Trauma Hotel. LOL!
