This and That – Good Evening from London!

Good evening from London!

Four words say it all: Highclere Castle and Downton Abbey! The house and grounds in person are beyond words. Watching the series on the telly does not do the rooms justice when seen in the flesh, as it were. We were there for six hours! Ate there too.

One bit of excitement, our train ride was interrupted due to a train derailment up the tracks; we persevered and hailed a cab.

Let me dash. We’re going to Bath tomorrow, so I’m taking a bath tonight so I won’t stink in Bath.
