Mississippi – a place of extremes. Wealth and poverty. Knowledge and ignorance. Love and hate. Beauty and squalor. Famous and infamous. Divine and secular.

But there’s nowhere else I’d rather live, and I thank God most every day that He allowed me to be born in this state of extremes, in which I learned how to navigate Life’s bumpy pathway.
