The Friday Funnies – A Boy and his Tractor.

Greetings!

I found this snap in a box of old snaps in an antique shop. Wonder what happened to this little fellow?

With his rakish Panama hat and snappy sandals, he’s the bee’s knees, to be sure. And that tractor! Perhaps he grew up to be a farmer. I bet his chest sprouted hair and filled out, his biceps expanded, and his calves were sights to see. Wonder if he told corny corn jokes: What is a buccaneer? A fair price for corn. What has many ears but can’t hear? A field of corn.

I can hear him now, singing a rousing chorus of the Village People’s “Macho Man” in whole notes, as he plowed the lower 40 somewhere between D’Lo and Mendenhall. I wonder if he was ever outstanding in his field?

Smile today. Laugh some. And giggle a bit. It will make the day go a tad easier.
