The Friday Funnies – My First COVID Shot.

Greetings! Good news! Bad news! The good news is this: I got my first COVID shot yesterday. The bad news is this: it did not go well.

Alas, I had an acute reaction. (See picture.) However, the National Guard boys were standing at the ready. They got me plastered up and sent me on my way. I’m thankful for their service, but can’t say I’m looking forward to Round Two, April 6th. This cast is itchy.

Please remember to smile, laugh, and giggle today. It’ll make you feel better. I’m smiling in my picture; you just can’t see me.

Men, be forewarned, if you have the same reaction as I did, it’s just as uncomfortable as it appears in the picture. (Nurse Ratched inserted the lower tube.)
