The Friday Funnies! Louie and the Transformer.

Mercy me! What a day we had yesterday. Bad boy Louie was all a flutter due to the torrential rain and the lightning. Still, he insisted on watching it all while standing under Mom’s old red umbrella. I told him to come inside, but Louie, being Louie, didn’t listen.

Then, there was a bright flash of light, an earth-shaking boom, and a fiery shower of sparks. Lightning hit a transformer. As poor Louie dashed back into the house, it was like a scene from that famous literary masterpiece, “The Yellow Stream,” by I. P. Freely.
