The Friday Funnies – The Opposite of a Frown Is?

For your humorous perusal, I submit a snap of moi circa 1994, lounging in my palatial digs, once located on Gulfport’s picturesque 2nd Street. Alas, gone now is much more than just the digs.

The San Fransico sweatshirt and Frosty the Snowman glass were lost in Katrina. And that ain’t all that’s been lost over the years. Gone is my taut jawline, replaced with jowls. My mane of soft, auburn hair is now thin and white. My hands, once soft and pristine, are now a patchwork of age spots. And that glowing tan has been replaced with melanoma scars. But one thing has remained the same…

As you age, please remember, dear ones: Youth fades, but a sweet smile never does. Keep one on your face this weekend and keep the frowns at bay.

Big hug, y’all! 🥰
