The Friday Funnies – Memories of a Hearty Laugh.

For all you High School graduates going off to college this Fall, know this. One day, when you’re old, you’ll look back on your college pictures and laugh.

These are some of my William Carey College chums from 1973, making merry in my dorm room. Please note my state-of-the-art sound system, including a record player and an 8-track player. Don’t miss our long hair, big-knotted tie, stylish duvet cover, wise old owl lamp, and the weights of my German cuckoo clock.

A word to the wise, though. It’s best to screen who you include in your snaps. If turnip greens and baked beans were on the lunchtime menu in the dining hall, that should be your first clue as to who gets their picture taken.

Never forget, a day without laughter is like a day without sunshine.
