This and That: Grief.

Greetings! Like many of you, dear family and friends, I know the pain of grief. While stumbling through it, I often think of the oyster, the Good Book, and an invincible summer. We all have our favorite little quips and witticisms—here’s mine. The lowly oyster covers an irritant grain of sand with priceless pearl. The Good Book tells us that weeping may endueth for a night, but joy commeth in the morning. And last but not least, in the depths of winter, I learned there was within me an invincible summer! Grief – keep praying for that joyful morning to come, cover your pain with “pearl” and never stop looking for that invincible summer in the depths of your winter! Big hug, y’all!
