This and That – Jayne Mansfield

Good afternoon! Hard to believe, dear Jayne would have been 90 today. For those who don’t know it, she has a strong Mississippi Gulf Coast connection–Gus Steven’s Night Club.

Not long ago, I visited the site of her death in that horrific auto accident, all those foggy nights ago. Sad that she was taken so senselessly and so young.

It’s interesting to ponder where her career would have taken her and where she’d be today had she lived. Still, driving her pink Cadillac and living in her pink house? You never know when your time will come. Carpe diem!
